I've been working on this one for quite a long time, and I'm still not really happy with it, but I thought I'd just give up and leave it alone for the sake of my laptop. It'd be window-bound if I worked any longer on it. It's taken so long for the simple reason that I just kept getting fed up with it after like 10 minutes of working in it so would close it and leave it a while, then go back and continue this process....
I wanted to pursue the concept of a guy carrying a girl for quite a while. I liked the horns I painted on the girl, that way you can't really tell if either of the figures are good or bad. The guy is in a black cloak and has wings, saving a girl without wings but has devil horns, and is chained to a post. I'll leave it up to you to decide what the story is  The title is the name of a Skillet song, which is pretty awesome. I felt they describe the feelings behind this composition quite well.
